This work is constructed from crumpled newspapers and reflects on the relationship between mass media, information fatigue and yellow journalism. The compressed and wrinkled yellow surface transforms news from a readable source of information into a dense physical mass, suggesting the collapse of endless headlines, media narratives and overstimulation into visual noise.

The yellow monochrome simultaneously references “yellow journalism” and evokes sensations of anxiety, warning and decay. By crumpling and obscuring the newspaper surface, the work disrupts readability and turns everyday information into unstable remnants of collective memory.
